cavx5 is on a distinguished road
tranny software update

hi everyone..recently purchased cpo 2005 x5 4.4 w/ 15000k so far so good but how would i know if it needs this tranny software update that i have been reading about in this forum..is it something that should be done normally or only if something goes wrong..thanks rob

15,000,000 miles? Or, 15,000 miles. If it's the former, I can't help ya.

If it's 15,000 miles, then you should get a tranny software update. There have been a few that may help you down the road. Get them before your warranty runs out.
