Just scored some 22" Hartage Wheels

I just scored some 22" Hartge wheels, they are 22x9.5 and 22x10.5. What tire size would you recommend? I would like to use 305/40/22 in the rear, but is that too tall? If I use a 295/25/22 tire will the ride be too harsh? I have used the 315/35/20 and ride quality was ok, any input would be great! Here is a pic

Go for the profile that meets stock specs. I would choose the wider tire for the simple fact that it will protect the inner wheels, esp on the rear.

Got them from a wheel shop on Ebay. What tire size should I use so the ride is not too harsh. (yes I know 22" wheels the ride will be harsh)

Staggered could be:
305/40R22 = Diameter of 31.6
265/45R22 = Diameter of 31.4

I think the .2 diameter difference would be okay but not sure. Also, your speedo will be off. Otherwise might be better to go to a non staggered setup.

Non-staggered:
285/40R22 = Diameter = 31.0
or
285/35R22 = Diameter = 29.8

Maybe the 40 profile is the better compromise. Also, you won't look like you have wagon wheels.

Nice wheels and post pics later!

That doesnt seem right, way too much of a profile width

If you want good tires and quality, but the dunlop sport maxx 305/30/22 rears and 265/35/22 fronts - I think the best tires out for 22" wheels, IMHO

im runnin continental 315/30/22 and 265/35/22 and it rides good.

i think the 40s are going to be to tall. I looked at getting perreli. I heard toyo does not plan on making there 315/30/22 rear any more. That would suck to mess 1 up and have to buy 4
