Dice vs. Intravee II

Hi Everyone,

I am curious to hear peoples experiences with Dice units vs the Intravee iPod adapter.

Is one more reliable than the other? Any comments or experiences with/about either model would be greatly appreciated!!

I've got the basic Dice module in my E36. Honeslty i've yet to come across an interface that's as good or responsive as the actual iPod itself so I prefer to control it directly rather than remotely. The intravee looks pretty tempting though as it seems to make the OEM headunit as intuitive as it possibly can be.

Not sure what i'll do for my X yet though.. the basic $40 aux input plug is tempting because of its cost & simplicity! I'm not in love with the Dice for what it costs comparatively.

I have the Dice. I am generally happy with it, but the text display never looks good (using only fraction of screen) and often needs to be reset.
The bigger issue though is navigation is awkward (mostly slow). If you have a lot of music, you'll want to navigate to the artist/album/playlist via the ipod itself.
I have no experience with the Intravee.

I have the Dension IceLink, DICE Silverline and Intravee II modules. If you have navigation then in my opinion the best solution is the Intravee II. If you don't have navigation then the DICE unit should meet your needs.

We've been integrating iPods going for our 6th year into BMWs. You won't find any better support for the DICE.

If you have Nav, then Intravee II is the best solution!
