First off, let me say this x5 owner that I encountered tonight was a complete asshole and I would never have him at an x5 meet and have a chance for him to win the crabshell raffle.....over my dead body.This guy was trying to demote my honda civic as if I didn't have an x5world decal on the passenger rear window.

Unforgettable race. Both out of the hole right at the green light. His torque surpassed me in first and he took the lead until the end of first as I shifted at 7200rpm and slammed into second. This powershift took the lead for myself and continued a sequential moment in time where I was in dead slow motion. I repeated the same process of shifting as the first shift..through third and then I called it quits right before fourth.

Judging by our race i would estimate his quarter mile time at just under 14.0 seconds. I Thought 451 hp in an x5 could do better times than that.

451 HP would be with a supercharger. I'm confused though, you had an X5world sticker on your civic so he got angry? And you raced him in the civic, not the 4.4?

we were driving on the same road for a few miles and a few red lights. we had a little cat and mouse chase for a few miles before we started talking. the first light that we rolled down our windows I said x5's are awesome and that i love mine. he rolled his eyes and said I didn't have an X5 and then peeled away once the light turned green. I caught up to him at the next light and I said for him to take a look at that side of my civic and check out the x5world decal. He says " do you know what I have in here? yours is not like this. I was just playing with you before." As the light turned green we both took off and thats when I pulled away from him. That dude was so pissed. I can't wait to see him again when I'm in my truck.

Yes my 1997 civic hatchback has a 1.8 liter integra type r dynoed at 210 whp. I love both cars the same. My X is a whole different kind of beast

What a freakin d!ck. I am glad you smoked him. I absolutely hate people like that.

No way he had that much HP without FI. Others are right, I bet he added up all the gains that the individual mods said he would get. What a doooosh!
