Cam sensor

I'm in the UK and I've got an '01 4.4i sport

Just found out at the dealership over the weekend that I have a faulty cam sensor and an air leak somewhere.

Can anyone tell me how involved a job it is to replace the sensor as I like to do things myself. They've quoted me £80 for the sensor itself. £200 to do the job. So if they're kind enough to tell me which bank has the failed sensor I'm contemplating doing it myself.

Also has anyone else had an 'air leak' error code too? I'm guessing I might have a little nik in an air line/vaccum hose somewhere.
