Question R/T Button

Hello All,
My R/T button in the steering wheel does not change from FM to CD or the other way. Am I missing anything here? Does this need to be programmed?
Thanks in advance,

The R/T button has nothing to do with the radio. It displays/hides the telephone book.

At least, that is what page 23 of my Owner's Manual says.

It switches between Radio/Telephone and other sources provided you have a phone connected that works with the BMW system, otherwise it has no function.

You know, sometimes I wander the same thing because I read some of these threads and later experience them.... Like when I go downtown SA, my remote does not work, I have to use the key to lock the X
