Expansion Coolant Tank - bobber floater

I've seemed to lose the bobber floater/gauge that is within the expansion coolant tank during a recent coolant flush.

Anyone have any handy ideas on how to retreive the bobber floater as it is lost in the expansion tank?

thanks

I noticed the same problem with mine yesterday...but mine looks like it snapped in the middle. I just hope it will stay in the coolant tank and not go all the way into the engine anyone knows if there is some kind of the screen in the coolant tank to prevent that?
I ordered a new coolant tank for $75 from Bavauto Next weekend project

Not knowing how it is stuck/wedged in the reservoir, I think a long
forceps may be able to noogie it around and jerk it out vertically
through the fill hole...I've rescued a lot of dropped parts over the
years with my forcep/hemostat collection.
