I believe it is either in one of the front lower fender liners, or in the lower bumper valence/grill (my memory sucks, can you tell?). It is an easy plug and play piece, but doesn't usually go out unless it gets damaged. What I usually see is the fender liner get damaged and the sensor gets ripped off with the wires. There is a repair kit for it if thats what happened.
