MID Removal unsuccessful
Ok ladies and gentlemen any help would be appreciated. Having MID Pixel problem. Removed volume knob found torx location turned about 75 degrees felt MID move a little, tried to rotate out no luck. Now when I look into torx location I no longer see torx head just a elbow shaped piece of metal with a round hole. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you in advance for any help. |

all you have to do is turn that torx or elbow shape to your left and about 1/4 of the turn =25 degrees not 75 degrees.

YESI did not use a torx but a hex key. My torx screwdriver bit was too short. Hex key worked just fine. |

Possibly why it did not come out, if you can feel it turn a quarter of a turn and lock, the latch is released then you can pull it out while holding the torx in the locked position.... Hopefully this helps

1/4 turn = 90 degrees, not 25 degrees. Turn the screw appox. 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Pry the midi out with a credit card. Slide the credit card into the crevice on the left side of the MIDI and it will come right out.
