I drove around with my suspension errors in the past with no damage, however I really cant answer that question.

My compressor was the last item replaced (about 18 months ago) and had no problems since.

jigaro, I had a front strut replaced and then started getting the error message. It took the dealer a couple of trys to figure it out, but they finally found that the compressor was going out. It would work for a day or two, then trigger the error message. They put a new compressor on and it has been fine for a few weeks now.

so your car's issue was the compressor and not the struts? BOTH?

When I bought it a couple months ago, the RF strut had a slow leak and so they replaced it under warranty. There were no error messages at the time. 3 days later the message appeared so they replaced the ignition switch, saying it had something wrong with it. 3 days later the message is back and after working on it for 4 days they discover the compressor is acting weird, so they replace it. It's been about 3 weeks and so far so good.

I will for sure, but for what reason?
guys thank you very much for reps, it is so easy to notice the ride is bumpy and unfomfortable, have to change compressor no way arround it.
on monday planning on placing an order from an independent shop, they gave me 400$ difference in price, and it's guaranteed that the part will come from Germany.

Well considering the BMW service situation there, you might need another one some day. Also some members here have repaired their compressors - something BMW does not do, they just sell you a new one.

True, guy that works at the dealership has cleaned it couple of times but after 3 days message comes on again, have to find a way to fix the compressor, maybe one of my friends will need it some day, or even me.
