Please forgive the old thread bump, but the dealer tells me that my pressure accumulator sensor is bad. Can I replace this myself, or does it have to be programmed?

I ordered the pressure sensor for the accumulator. It has to come from Deutschland so I've got a few days to decide if I can install this myself. Has anyone replaced one of these? It's part number 9 on the diagram killcrap posted.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
The sensor itself is not programmed, so can be swapped out plug and play. However if the system is ina faulted state because of the bad sensor it may need the diagnostic computers to get it on its feet again.

I thought the hitch was strange when I bought my X back in 02. Don't take it off! I use it all the time! I bought a small trailer to go to the lumber yard or pick up wood chips. Then a bass boat. You'll use it, trust me.

Good point. When it was diagnosed this week, they cleared the fault and it hasn't yet returned. I'm sure it will return before the part arrives from Germany.
