2001 X5 blower fan cycles on/off
I have searched the forums and I do not believe this problem is addressed. The blower fan works fine, so its not the final stage resistor. What happens is, sometimes when I turn the vehicle off, the blower fan will cycle on and off constantly and never stops, leading to a dead battery. It doesn't always do it and turning the car back on, running a minute or so, and turning it off doesn't help. The odd thing is - it doesn't always do it, so troubleshooting this is going to be a pain. Any ideas? TIA.
