I have a 2005 x5 3.0. Looking to get hid's and set put into projectors. My dilemma is what bulb type are the lowbeams? owners manual says its H7. Sylvania website says its H1. Anyone know which one is correct? Thanks,

H7.
I replaced my low beams with Philips VisionPlus bulbs and have been very happy with the light. |

I am currently waiting for some 'adaptors' to arrive.. I ordered an HID kit for my 3.0 2005 and the H7 bulbs provided with the kit do not fit in the housing -- the turn-lock mechanism is not the same as with the bulbs that came off of the car. I hope the 'adaptors' that are coming will solve the issue and make the bulbs fit correctly. |

I may be confused. Sprite, are you just wanting to replace your non-Xenon low beam bulbs or are you trying to do something else?
The direct replacement bulb is an H7. Otherwise, I am not sure what you are talking about doing. |
