Just Signed Up

Had my 4.6iS for a week now and have been a lurker here for some time so joined up to the community.

As usual, with newbies I have a question which should be an easy one for such a knowledgable group.

I'm having a problem with No 14 on the attached picture. One side is not on straight and seems to be jammed. Is there an easy way to remove. I don't want to give it too much stick in case it breaks.

Also a couple of pictures of the car. I still have a smile on my face.

Hi Denis,
The cargo cover latches come out fairly easily.
Firstly, roll back the cover to create slack then stick your finger in the space between the ratchet guide and the underside of the removable piece (#14) and feel for a little lever. Push it towards the front of the car and at the same time lift up gently. It should come straight out for you. If not apply some downward pressue to take the pressure off, then try again.
To reinsert just line it up, place the forward portion in first then snap it down into position.
Tip: Make sure the cargo cover guide wheels are in the same position each side prior to snapping down the 2 pieces otherwise it will not sit evenly (tight on one side and ruffled the other).

Good luck

BTW - Nice looking ride you got there, I like the all blue look.

Looks like a nice colour, remind me somewhat of my previous X5.
