hi
just had my water pump changed last week at dealer, milage was 88600,as it was noisy on idle,

Update:
Well I had to get my valve cover gasket replaced today ('01 3.0 85K miles) but asked the indy to check the water pump and the belts as well (dealer said those were getting bad). Turns out the water pump was on it's last leg, and I do need the 2 drive belts replaced and they recommended changing the thermostat while they are doing the water pump. I haven't had too many problems so I guess this goes with the age of the vehicle. Came out to about $1,000 for all of that--not too bad.  He also said "you are lucky you don't have a 4.4--those have a lot of problems"--I thought that was interesting.
