Exclamation Changing the light in the Mirror from std to the newer xenon looking type.

has anyone done the light bulb upgrade for the door mirrors from the stock bulb to a xenon looking blue colored ones that are now standard on the newer bmw's?

I have a 2005 3.0 and I noticed that these bulbs are the std yellow color ones where the new bmw's have nice xenon looking ones.

What is the bulb I need to be looking for?
Where can i find it? ebay?

what is the process of changing the bulb? difficult? I don't want to break anything during the process caus the car is mint overall.

Thank you!!!

Hey ArNar,
I recently did a full makeover to all interior globes. I used xenon lookalike LED's. Very happy with end result. Bought mine from Bimmian.
