How much are you willing to spend?

www.customangeleyes.com are the best, but pricey.

No question - AngeliBrights:

AngeliBright - Angel iBright V3.0 for e53 X5
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=2040

These will be the best and brightest - hands down.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
Tom, a quick question. I am also in the market for angel eyes... The angelibrights seem to be the best and brightest, but the link description says installation in 5 minutes, no need to remove headlights, and says for any x5 with angel eyes post facelift. Do you also have the whole angel eye rings or just the brighter bulbs for existing angel eyes. I ask because I and the OP have pre-facelift X5's that don't have existing rings and I/we would be opening the headlights to install the rings.

The only reason I don't have any yet is that I can't seem to find a clear option of good quality that isn't for '04 and up and doesn't come as complete headlights. I would have no problem buying complete headlights if I liked them, and mainly if I wouldn't lose my OEM self leveling HID functionality... which is why I will most likely tastefully modify my current headlights.

And a quick note, I prefer an oem look to bright white, but do not care for the "xenon match" blue lookng rings myself.

Dave's setup is expensive, but they definately look great. Also there is excellent customer service. So far I'm satisfied.
Here are some of my pictures so you can have an idea, and I'm sure when Rich sees this thread he will post his too.

I don't recommend Umnitza for poor quality products and lack of customer service. I dealt with them first and was disappointed (product that wasn't even advertised was sent). Rich led me towards the customangeleyes.com setup.

Don't get CCFLs. Maybe the mycar Aurora 30 LEDs (might still be brighter)? You won't find a product advertised just like OEM, the market for that isn't too big. Usually people want something that will stand out more than the OEM weak and yellow look.

There is always the DEPO headlights on eBay with those weaker rings..

Tom - Aren't AngeliBrights for facelifted models only? The OP has a 2002.

Here is the deal!!

Dave G owns both www.customangeleyes.com

and

www.angelibrite.com

for pre face lift you have to goto www.customangeleyes.com

and 9 times out of 10 you are buyig the entire new headlight assembly which include the halo's!!! the other option is to utilize your present assembly - bake them open and do the job that way....what you will see on this website is old......search my threads and mtx5 to see what Dave's new solution is for pre face lift....

now ....for facelifted X5's.............yes ... www.angelibrite.com

........now on the flip side..you can go ebay or wherever and find halo's....and bake your headlights.....etc etc.....good examples here are x5dawg and zerochief ..search their threads because they both did an excellent job of baking and installing halo's!!

I hope this clarifies and helps!

Rich
