nah i refused it , i think its tacky !!

about the tails i had the body shop do it along with the other stuff , but for a diy there is something called niteshade that you spray and then just get a clear enamel to spray over the niteshade for the shiny look !!

the brakes were sprayed with the same paint as the car also at the body shop !!

for spacers i used 30 mm in the rear and 10mm in the front , i feel the truck defenetly handles better !!

and finally the running boards (oem) were taken apart and powdercoated then reinstalled !!

thnx for all the comments guys and gals , except that one guy !!

I like the red calipers and the whole color combo - unique and well done.

The front spacers working out well with no alignment, handling or vibration issues?

Nice job I got mine "Dinan"ed also (CAI, throttle body, exhausts, Stage 3 software, strut bar) and have never regretted it. Pricey, but I guess just like you pay for the BMW name, you're also paying for the Dinan name (and compatibility). Also, since your 4.8 is 355 hp stock, my guess is you're easily getting 385 horses out of your X now at full throttle. Yeah baby! (I also turned down the Dinan badge, thought it was overkill)

BTW, did you notice how Dinan does NOT have the tranny software for the post-facelift E53s?

Congrats on the Dinan setup. What size spacers did you use front and rear?

any changes to handling and such with the spacers? Do you need to get a new alignment after adding spacers?

I am thinking about adding the software but I would like to know that the truck is faster and not just "seat of the pants" faster.

Once again, awesome ride.
