Tailgate and passenger door question

Just bought an 05 X5 off lease. Real nice ride on the way home. Few things I noticed... Really like it so far....

So..... the tailgate when locked with the rear glass up.... If I pull it on the left side...its tight....but if I pull the right side...its loose. this normal?

Passenger front door is out of alignment. It needs adjustment. Is this a normal issue and easily fixed by adjusting the striker? It looks like there is a plastic plate covering the adjustment screws (I know I could take it back to the dealer and have them do this but I had real bad experiences with body work at a dealership once....)

Thanks guys

No accidents. She is perfect but the door is just a little off (I'm a bit crazy when it comes to this as I am a bit of a perfectionist)

Which dealership did you buy it from?
