Remote Key - Interference
I can only think that the bank has some sort of security gizmo dictating terms there. Maybe I'm unlocking or interferring with the banks vault or some other electrical field. Really weird as this dosen't happen anywhere else except for outside this one particular bank. There are various retailer shops either side of the bank. I realise that their is probably nothing I can do about this, however I'm intrigued each time this happens. Has anybody else had similar experiences ? ?

not to mention "embarassing" using the actual key to lock/unlock the car...best solution...nice aftermarket alarm....works for me pretty well =)

I find if there is a transformer on a hydro pole nearby the remote doesn't work. I happened to me again last week at the tire shop, I finally had to go and use the key! there must be soem frequency that these things giv eoff that blocks the remote lock.

I understand your frustrations..... Happend to me when visiting downtown San Antonio, I was in class for a week and the parking lot I parked my X in for the week would not allow me to use my remote. At first I was pissed because the key I was using was only about 6 months old and I thought it had stopped working until I realized that it would only not work when I was downtown. I took my 740iL down to the same lot and it worked properly, just only had issues with the X.

It has happens to me all the time....well, only if I park in the circle in downtown Buffalo. The first time it happened I'm thinking WTF, but the remote worked fine as soon as I got to my next destination. Now I know it won't work there, as I have replicated the problem several times.
Odd though.
