Quick lighting question while my X is at dealer.....

I have searched all lighting threads, If I have DRL turned off at dealer will my angle eyes still be illuminated? I have 2006 with adaptive lighting. Also which is the proper bulb to replace high beam for color match with Xenons? I could be wrong with my questions but need to ask!!!

As a safety feature WHY would you have the DRL turned off?
This is a very good way to be seen by other drivers, EVERY car should have this feature, it is especially good for rain and early dusk time when it is hard to see other vehicles...I just do not understand no having them on....

Okay, I have an 04 with adaptive too.

DRL is separate from the angel eyes. So, angel eyes will still be on when you put your parking lamps on or headlights on.

I'm not clear on your question. The high beam on cars with adaptive Bi-xenons are the same bulb for low-beam - the xenon D2S bulb (that's why they're called bi-xenon). I assume this is what you're talking about.

Otherwise, the DRL bulb (which some mistake for high beam) is H1 on mine.

Some people want to use the angel eyes as DRLs.
