Ipod interface for 06 X5 4.4

I'm new to X5 forum. I like to add Ipod interface to my 06 X5 4.4. My X5 comes with Nav w/oDSP and CD. BMWSF asks for $534 to install the Ipod. Can you recommend the local shop in SF or Santa Clara to install the X5 Ipod? I look at http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/ site and I see the DICE BMW iPod Integration Kit for X5 00-06 (E53) - SILVERLINE

- BMW OEM iPod Integration
- DICE Silverline
- Intravee + Alpine KCA-420i

BMW Ipod Interface for my 06 X5 4.4 with Nav was installed by BMWSF. The Ipod takes over the CD interface, the sound is great. I notice that the BMW Ipod interface lacks of some features such as text display of the song or playlists/artists and most important feature of Iphone charging. I'm totally disappointed about this BMW Ipod interface. Do you guys experience these problems with the BMW Ipod interface? BMWSF gives me a great price $570 for the part and installation.

I just want to make sure that these uncharacterzied features are part of the bad Ipod interface design from BMW. It's done deal. I should have Dice Ipod interface.

Please let me know if I miss something about the BMW Ipod Interface for Iphone 3G.

Dougpham,
That is how the Ipod interface works. I don't know if there is going to be fix for charging the later generation Ipods. You may want to check the Audio forum and see if there is any mention of it.
