noise/low coolant message
hi everyone just got back from the dealer...i was getting low coolant level messagefor past 2 days..no sign of any leaks..everything was dry...dealer checked it out and just added some antifreeze,,was told this happens in very cold weather..dealer said it they have been getting a lot of cars not just x5's with this same issue..as far as noise i described in prior thread tech stated it is normal...it is fresh air intake letting in fresh air even though the button is off..so what do you think about this...all in ALL NOTHING SERIOUS...THANKS ROB

I don't think I'd worry about if it happened once. If it continues to occur (and occur more frequency), then I'd worry about it.

hi, i had the same problem with the cooler level and i had to change the instrument cluster
