Got the Dice, and really disappointed - Intravee better??

Folks,

I got the Dice converter installed and running, and I really don't like the interface, I find it quite difficult to use, and know what I'm doing. It also seems to randomly decide to stop or pause sometimes when I turn the vehicle off, losing my place in the playlist.

I am seriously considering going to the Intravee, but wanted to be sure that it will be better.

Does the intravee allow you to control the Ipod from the Ipod as well as the steering wheel/nav button interface??

Thanks,
Evan

I have both and the Intravee is much better in terms of controling the iPod but it is more expensive. Intravee will not allow you to control from the iPod cause simply you won't need it. I am keeping the iPod at the back of the car.

There are a lot of topics discussing and comparing this issue ... u can use the search option or you can go to the audio/electronics forum http://www.xoutpost.com/bsws-mobile-electronics-forum/

Hope this is not a hi-jack of the thread
I just had stock installed Ipod adapter from dealer and yes it was FREE (not aux plug) and I can control it from steering wheel but it only displays TROO 192 for track #192. Any thing I'm doing wrong? Definitely better sounding then FM transmitter but no song name, band etc!!

I have the DICE and am pleased. No Nav. I have found if I turn off the radio before disconecting it, it won't loose it's place. I use it with an iPhone.

Yes it does ... Mine is 2002 4.4i and it works flawlessly
I had some issues in the beginning because of my dead MKIII
Replaced the MKIII and everything went perfect

Zerochief,
No you cannot access video from the Intravee. You still need a video module of some sort.

I think the BMW Ipod adapter does not display the track information.
Some information from another thread.

Good luck!
