4 Wheels of Fun is on a distinguished road
Recently purchased my 2003 X5 4.4i w/ Sport package. It now has about 85,000 miles and we're hoping to get at least a couple years of relatively trouble free enjoyment from it. We sure enjoy driving it (coming off a gutless old Subaru).

Any advice from the high mileage folks on how to keep this thing going without a bottomless pile of cash?

Very nice and long trip, but I loved the way that V8 pulled over those AZ mountains, I think I embarrassed a few cars that tried to hang with me as I pulled away up and over.... But I think rolling over the Hoover Dam was the highlight of my day!!!!

If you are just looking for the high miles on a V8.... I have 301K on my 740iL. It has the M60 engine in it with original trans still rollin strong
