Help on the lower intake boot crack

Can anyone post a Picture instruction for change of lower intake boot, my X is 2002 3.0i. Thanks very much.
BTW, how a cracked lower intake boot will impact my X's performance?

have you tried doing a search for a DIY? i would think it's fairly simple.

you'll get codes and lose performance. Duct tape will help until you get a new intake boot.
