Unless you live in an area where it constantly snows and salt is fairly constant, rust from it won't be much to worry about.

I'd love to have some type of valve to allow warm water to my outside hose. I insulated and sheetrocked my garage this past fall and it's stays pretty warm in there also. Thought about Optimum No Rinse car wash but I'm still alittle skeptical about it. Maybe if I can at least foam and rinse the car off first then pull it into the garage I'd wash it with ONR. Gotta get a foam gun and pressure washer next

I've got hot water in the garage as well but it makes such a mess when I try to clean any of my cars in the garage.

bring the hose out on to the driveway maybe? make the water just warm enough to not crack any brittle materials?

I use the "Rinse or Shower" option on the hose nozzle for minimal pressure and it does the job pretty well w/o the mess.

I've never understood buying black cars anywhere it snows more than a little. They're hard to keep clean even in summer..

I have three blk bmw's...All the washes are done in my garage, it works out great...Warm water, no sun, cleans my floor, just use the rinse mode on the nozzle for overspray problems...Plus my neighbors get something to chat about seeing suds roll out of the garage! 4.6is,e46m3,k1200s

Yea I tried it but the water freezes and turns to thick ice. Plus the temperature where I live is always around -15 degrees Celsius.

I tried on that setting but then it just isn't enough to get the salt off and its easier if I just wait to take it to a car wash.
