Noteworthy Dealer Experience
Wanted to share a pleasant dealer maintenance experience I had at Checkered Flag BMW in Virginia Beach, VA. We have a 2004 X5 3.0 that just went out of warranty last September. Soon after, pixels began to fail on the MID. I emailed BMW USA Customer Service and after a few weeks and some staffing effort, they contacted the dealership and said they would replace the MID at no charge. Well, i just returned from the dealer with a brand new radio display this afternoon. Everyone in the process was outstanding. Although we have been BMW customers over the last 22 years, it's always nice when a car company goes above and beyond.
