Doesnt work for me for some reason?

But I found your thread; and you stated on there that you used the ORIGINAL xenon from the original BMW headlights, including the self leveling.

Now in my opinion that still doesnt make the aftermarket ones plug and play!

However I would be interested on how you adapted the OEM Xenon and Self levelling into the aftermarket units! Your X5 and the headlights look great by the way

Step by step:

Self Leveling: The new headlights has a self leveling adjustment motor installed. The rest of the self leveling system is already in the car (if you have self leveling). Simply unplug the plug connected to the existing self leveling on your headlight. This in my book is plug and play.

Xenon lights: take the bulb out of your old headlights, all the other xenon equipment is in the car, not in the headlight itself. Reinsert the bulb, with a H7 adaptor ring into the new headlights........... Plug the existing xenon into the bulb......... This is also plug and play in my book!

Those headlights are made by Depo. Those are the same headlights that people call the p53. Depo makes alot of headlights like the p38 for a e38 BMW and the p53 for the e53. I have bought those and they are plug and play but it took my awhile to figure out how to install the angel eyes.
