Black Interior Trim

Just wondering if anyone has installed black interior trim pieces such as the kit here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-X...9230QQtcZphoto

If so, could you post some pics? I currently have black interior with wood trim and am wondering how it would look with all black.

Thanks in advance.

When I first saw newb's post I thought this black trim idea was stupid. But after seein the posted pic I think it looks pretty nice. However, my only concern would be 1)the quality of the product 2)how it would hold up to scratching and smudging. With that black trim will you be able to see every single scratch and finger smudge--something to think about...

Looks like an original BMW item to me. And the photo is awesome; like the piano black trim option in the 7 series individual.

Cosmos black was the standard trim on all non-premium X5's with black interior, it could also be found on various 4.6is models.

I'm really thinking of going that way, that pic looks pretty sweet. Zack, did that come original, did you get a kit, or what? I'm always a bit leery of $200 ebay specials

sorry to mislead you guys, the picture is not actually my car, just one I saved a looong time ago.

I was trying to buy the trim for a long time, and even morristown couldn't give me a part number for it. After seeing the trim in person I had to have it. The trim in the ebay auction definately looks legit.

No apology needed! At least you had a pic so we could see what it looked like

Once I get some spare cash (been spending way too much on the X5 lately), I'll have to get a set. Probably be this summer.

EDIT: Btw, that steering wheel appears to be the standard sport wheel like I removed to install the M-tech one. Still have the old one ...
