I guess once I get some pics, I'll PM the admins

Hmmmm ... I don't think i'm quite that tweaky as to adjust it EVERY track, lol. Maybe with each album (as CDs are quite differently mixed and adjusted). Once I see what size the knob is, I can determine where a good spot would be. We'll see how creative I can get.

I don't adjust every track (unless the ipod is on random), just when I feel like boost'n up the bass to catch the moment. Most of the time its just set to medium.

Maybe I'll use some of the tax refund on BSW upgrades

Looks like you have a really nice X ZeroChief

Thanks x5newb, we have the same year/engine with similar options. Have you posted pics of your ride? BTW the BSW speakers sound great. Going for about 3 years with no vibration problems at all. How's that 318ti? I see those around sometimes and they look fun to drive. Looks like everyones waiting for pics here

Yeah, I still need to take pics, lol. I'm a bit of a slacker when it comes to that. Maybe I'll get to take some when the gf comes to visit in late Feb.

The ti is a blast even though it only has ~138hp (even less at the wheels and even less in the thin mile high air). I've done a few things and have a lot of things to go. My mod list on 318ti.org (great site, much like this one):

1996 318ti, California package, 236k miles
current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 business CD head unit, CD-changer delete mod, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, kosei k-1 16x7 lightweight rims, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest

acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts

Oh yeah, and it pretty much gets 30+ mpg no matter how I drive it and it's been nearly bullet proof since I got it in '96 with ~300 miles on the clock. That said, most BMW owners treat you like you don't exist and that the ti is the worst thing they ever produced, lol.

The eBay Cosmos Schwarz nav trim kit arrived today! I'll have to figure out where to put the pics (I'm assuming there's a gallery here I can post/link to). Is there a DIY on replacing the interior trim anywhere (I don't see one on the home page)? If not, I guess it's time to do one

EDIT: If anyone wants close up pics of any particular pieces, part numbers, etc, please let me know ASAP as I want to get it installed soon (my bro-in-law and niece are coming out in a few days and I want to get this installed, finish the Intravee install and button up the interior). I'm very excited!

Trim installed on center console (which is in my living room) the night before last (also had to do a bunch of cleaning as the previous owner spilled coffee or something all over) and installed the dash/door trim last night. I also cleaned the interior (forward of the rear seats) so I'm ready to re-install the center console and connect up the cabling for the Spec Dock/Alpine/Intravee, reinstall any remaining trim/interior bits and test it all out! IMHO, the black looks way better than the wood grain. However, I like the fact that those wood pieces are metal backed. I think I'm going to have them stripped/sanded and shot in Stahlgrau Metallic, I think that would look really good. I've been taking pics, but nothing uploaded anywhere yet. Can't wait to get it back on the road!

Have some on new camera I just got that I'll have to upload as well, but they'll all end up here I guess (gallery here only allows 9.63MB, ugh):
