x5 4.8is questions

i have a 4.8is(e53) and i had some questions that maybe some of you can answer.
first what are the widest size tires i can put on the?(i have 315s on back and 275s on front but want to go wider.
secondly i heard that the IS part means its already supercharged, is this true?
thirdly if #2 is false do they make superchargers or turbos for this model?
Fourthly how can i plug my ipod or other mp3 into the sav?(it has dsp if that helps)

i was looking at ur sig mrbmwx5, and i noticed u have a smg shifter. can u tell me how u put it on there and where u got it from?

no superchargers, or turbos for a 4.8, only the 4.6 (due to valvetronic)
-Dinan is your best bet, but you'll only get about 20Hp for 6k

You can get either Dice (available through one of the site sponsors) or the BMW aux input (I have this and it works well b/c it's non-proprietary and I sometimes plug my laptop in)

You can probably go as wide as 335 on the back (I don't think there are tires available though, the best bet is to look at the tire specs and look where it has rim requirements at the min/max)

ok thanks for the info. when u say aux input is it already in ur car or did u buy something seperate?

ok maybe thats what i will do because i dont want to spend all that money to replace the cd player to plug in an ipod that could easily break and then have no music. thanks alot
