South African Spec E53 4.8is, came with BMW HiFi Individual Logic7, the speakers were a mix of Phillips & Blaupunkt, tweeters were BMW branded?

Are you sure about that? Do you have anything printed that says it, b/c I thought the Logic7 system started with the 7 series in the mid 2000's and never made it to the X5.

Damn you people!

After reading this thread, today when I wanted to merge into the freeway, I got on gas hard and my 3.0 picked up nicely... but all I could think about was:

'man, I should have gotten a 4.8!!!'

Yea I don't think it is the Logic7 system in the x5.
