2004 x5 4.8 Engine REBUILD Question HELP!

OK, so i got this water damage 04' X5 4.8L i took the engine apart and found one piston and connecting rod damaged. Now, i got the new parts in and espacialy the CONNECTING ROD
and huuuuum how the hell do you reinstall the new connecting rod??!!! Its all one piece, it does not come apart? I have never seen that in my life. I mean i don't see any "cracks" or any seams where this thing would split up in two! But there are two bolts in it, what are they there for i have no clue, unless i am not seeing something, or do i have to take the crank apart some how?

This is probably a stupid question, but some one if you know please tell me.
