WILL THIS WORK?

I am going to retro fit sat nav into my x5, ive been offered a nav loom from a e39 5 series. Will this loom work in the x5?

Agree. Your avatar is about to give me a seizure. To answer your question it's hard to tell if it will work. If you look at the Nav retrofit instructions they don't give separate part numbers for the different components so it's impossible to tell if they are exactly the same. Second point is that it is a VERY intensive job to do and you certainly want to make sure you have all the right stuff to do it before you perform major surgery on your cars electrical system. I would suggest buying the entire complete kit and following the instructions to the letter.
