Should I facelift my X5?

Well I was thinking of a new project to change the look of my x5. FACELIFT!!! Im planning on doing the whole conversion and going with the 4.8 bumper. Right now I have the 4.6 spoiler on with shadowline grilles and love the look. However, I feel I would like to change things up a bit. Plus I thought it would be cool to have a Facelifted steel grey X5, probably the only one out there.

I am a little hesitant though because of the complications I may run into later on, ie. headlight wiring(leveling+xenon), new fog light harness etc. I know it's been done before, but not sure of the total costs. Plus I'm not sure if this is the right route as the prefacelift front end looks a lot meaner in my opinion. Do I wanna lose that? So what are your opinions? Should I facelift or leave it as is?

My vote is leave it as is, however I like the facelifted X5's. Save your cash for unexpected repairs. Pre facelifted X5's look great too IMO.
If you do go ahead with the project, keep us posted

I'd re-finish your 87's in ferric gray chrome instead.

No, your X looks great as it is. Waste of money IMO, but do whatever makes you happy.

How much will this cost? 3 or 4 grand? I'd say save it for a rainy day.. Unless you got the cash to burn, go ahead and do it!

I think face lifted X5's are beauties...but there is a toughness about the pre facelift X5 that I love....my vote stay with what you have and spend the money elsewhere!
