Double check the bulb even after going to Sylvania. I went to Sylvania to look for the fog bulb type and it indicated H11 but in reality it was H3. Cost me some shipping cost since I wanted to install HID fogs and ordered the incorrect bulb. Usually Sylvania is very good but I believe there was a bulb change midyear for the 2002 X5.

I suggest you open up all the interior light locations you want to replace to be certain.

Under the Doors you'll have - 4 bulbs
Front foot well - 2 bulbs
Rear under seat foot area - 2 bulbs

what size are the liscense plate bulbs 31mm? Trying to not get dressed and out of bed to go out and look to order now...

39mm. Check out the first post as it even has the pictures.

thanks about to order just trying to get all the sizes together to do the whole car with no error codes. Search is not my firend today, turning up poor results...thanks

Folks be sure to order the 12volt version! I've heard from others of melting bulbs...

my license plate lights are back to oem now...

both LEDs melted yesterday
