Also get aftermarket tail lights from ebay. You can get the LED ones which I think look better than the oems or you can get the regular ones.

did you return car to seller and insist they repair car? in UK when you buy anything from legitemate trader then laws protect purchaser from such problems, i suggest you seek advice from lawer or any citizen advice centre. also if you financed car through dealer then you may have some level of protection. ASK QUESTIONS dont listen to bullshit from dealers.there may be some consumer advice available online.try everything you can think of within your countrys laws, you should have some level of protection, also repair costs quoted are ridiculous. GOOD LUCK BUDDY.

He has no protection period.. in the United States as soon as you drive off the lot, the car is yours. Dealer has no liability once the car is off the lot. Especially since its a used car. In the States its up to the customer to do his "research" and get a 3rd party diagnosis of the vehicle if he so chooses. Otherwise, he's out of luck.

Yup.

Another vote for PPI!!!!

Unless you're buying something still covered by factory warranty, then a PPI always needed! I usually even get the factory warranty cars PPI'd!

The lemon law doesn't apply to an 8 year old car with 100k on the clock.
