Results from Seafoaming my X5!
10,000 mile update: still running well, no issues.
I Seafoamed my cars this afternoon for the first time ever. The 2002 Corvette with 53k miles put on a mild smoke show; nothing to write the forum about, but the 2001 X5 3.0i with 83k miles...wow! It was like those burnouts that are so smokey you can't see the car. Kids were looking over fences, dogs were barking, I am surprised that the FD was not called.
After the smoke show calmed down a bit (about three minutes), I took the car for a spin to work the rest out.
Results after treatment: my idle went from okay, to very smooth and the idle RPM seemed to drop a little.
Has anyone else here tried it on their X?
