Here is a clip of my 2001 X5 4.4 since I installed the X-Pipe. The rest of the exhaust is stock. Camera resolution changed a couple times, oh well.

Windows were up when underway.

how much and does it sound much different then stock (in person I mean)
Does it eliminate any parts?
Does it set off any sensors?

The X-pipe can be had for about $80. Instalation varies $150 or so.

The resonator has been removed. No error codes.

There are many threads about this.

My exhaust guy in Fort Worth just makes them. He did a great job on mine and it sounds fantastic. I'd say it netted a loss of 10lbs or so. That resonator is heavy! He built the pipe and installed all for $150 total.

I got it installed for $80 . Take it to a shop whose manager is off duty and pay the guy cash haha
