Accessory Unswitched Power
I am attempting to locate a source of unswitched power in the engine compartment. I realize the fuse blocks are located in the glovebox and rear compartment, but I am trying find a power source ahead of the firewall. I'm wondering if I can tap a lead right into the jumpstart terminal. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks - John

If you have the jumper post that is a 19mm nut as the post, maybe you could take it off and slip a ring terminal behind it... just make damn sure it goes back together with proper connection and torque as all of the amperage to the starter, then from the alternator goes through that connection.
