M3 Mirror

Hi all,

Anyone know if an E46 rear view mirror will fit an E53 X5, or would I need and M5 mirror?

The M5 and M3 mirror are the same.

I had one fitted to my previous 4.6 and everything worked fine regarding auto dimming and the remote locking etc, but thats because the 4.6 has basically got all the same features as an M3 or M5, and the mounting is the same because the M3 and M5 also have auto lights and rain sensing wipers so the attachment on the window is the same.

Thats good news then.
I have an '01 4.4 sport, I've got the rain sensing wipers too and my current mirror is auto-dimming. So as long as the fittings are the same, its sounds like it should fit. Great stuff.
