I am not a fan of the white heavily modified X5 featured in this post, nor the pearl orange example above, but if the owners are happy, great for them!!

I do like the silver front under bumper tray I see on a few X5's here like richirich and TaMbALoLoNg's vehicles. (See photo in post signature above) I looked in the E53 parts catalog and found what I think is that unit for approx $200, and it says it requires painting and is plastic. I find this a nice and tasteful OE option. Not to stray too far off topic here, but if any of you have this on your X5, is it, in your opinion, worth the investement? Is there another that you feel is "better".

There is a pearl tangerine Lambo around here. Not too obvious! He does do track events with it, though, so he actually uses the thing.

The way I look at mods is that the ugly ones make the good ones look better.

A friend of mine bought a Harley. He asked me what I thought should be done to "make it stand out". I told him to leave it absolutely stock and he would have the most unique Harley in the world. He thought that was a great idea, but later told me "You know, I just can't do that" and ended up with every accessory, including chaps, in the HD catalogue.

Somebody had posted this pic and more a long time back. There was also a proud guy looking in the X's face in those pics. You may have to search.

Interior and cluster is not bad though.
