buzzing noise

hi everyone..just to recap my problem i had a buzzing noise from the rear seat area..brought to dealer we concurred that i was the fuel pump and the fuel pump is located undeer rear right seat..pump replaced but noise still there..recently looked at bmw repair manual and discovered that there are 2 suction jet pumps in the same area..i was just wondering before i bring it in again if these pumps could be bad causing this buzzing sound..it is very faint but of course i hear it...any opinions..thanks rob

rob..you're still dealing with buzzing noise? If the dealer can't find it after multiple times, if your X isn't throwing codes, and your dealer STILL can't find it. There really isn't much more you can do, other then take it somewhere else, where they and everyone else can guess all day long at the problem and you can replace part after part and still hear the buzzing noise that apparently is so faint. Let the pro's handle this one because any amateur can guess what it might be and eventually replace every single part and still be wrong.. Either live with it, or keep going round and round and I actually do hope you get your "buzzing" noise resolved so good luck.

Maybe its coming from the stereo? Is there a way to disconnect the stereo output to the speakers so you can rule that out? Try using process of elimination.
