Sorry to bring an old thread back from the dead, but the link provided is dead...

Any info out there to swap the low cluster for a high cluster?

I am used to the high cluster on my E38 and love that I can see the hidden menu items such as operating temps, battery voltage etc. so I would love to have the same functions in the E53.

My '05 3.0 has the low cluster and no NAV and no bluetooth, if that helps at all...

The link to xoutpost worked for me just now, but yes, I see the PDF link now autoforwards to Amazon.

BTW, I have an '01 with the high cluster and would much prefer to have empty space in there. Yes, a little box to put my GPS and phone would be much more useful than I find the high cluster to be.

Here's info about the low cluster and how to access the hidden menu (with visuals).

And also the instructions on how to reset the SI (service interval display) using the left button on the instrument cluster display:
