:xoutpost: 1. Wheels: 21" OEM wheels are available but I would stick with 20" because of availability and cost concerns. 2. Headlights: To clear the corner on 04+ the practical way is to buy OEM Euro headlights (though expensive). You can open the HLs on 04+ but its VERY difficult and will involve a LOT of cutting. Once its open you still won't have clear corners but you can paint them. Also, there are no companies that make clear corners for 04+ headlights that I know of. Good luck and post some pics!

$500-$700 a pop doesn't seem totally unreasonable. Is that just a direct swap, pop the US versions out and pop the EURO versions in? Or is any modification required?

No mods but usually when you buy them they are just the housing - no bulbs, ballast, igniter, etc. You need to swap them from your HLs. Thats one of the reasons they're cheaper.
Word of caution. There are different Euro versions out there so make sure you know what you're getting. That way your HL internals will work with that Euro HL. For example, stock on my 4.8 are ADAPTIVE bi-xenons. So, I bought the adaptive version. There is a non-adaptive version too. |
