I don't know if it's anyones, but it deifnetly does not have SMG. It has tiptronic. Price seems kinda high for the miles it has on it.

interesting...dinan chip for the 3.0? anyone have more info, does this improve anything?

Look closely...it does have SMG...its pretty cool...

Price is way to high. Specially for a 01.

I'm assuming that's sarcasm. Only the M3 and the Z4 got SMG. Now the E60 has it too and so will the e90.

I wouldnt say it is way too high. It might be about a grand on the high side...easily within negotiation range. I sold my 01 X5 3.0 in August for 23500 with 68500 miles and no extended warranty. It also didnt have the cool mods on it, plus it was pearl beige with pastel green interior. -- not exactly what I call a highly desireable color. This guy should be able to get close to what he is asking for. Remember...these X5s hold resale better than they should....

You can retro the SMG in the X5...look closely at the steering wheel. You can see the SMG paddle shifters in the thumb locations. They are definately there. The wheel is the expensive part...the rest of it is only about $50.00 in parts to convert.

Lets look at that X5 for what it is. It is as cool as it actually looks. The guy that owns it should be on this web site and probably lurks on here. He has done a lot of mods to it that the ideas stem from this site. The only thing it is missing is the 16:9 navigation screen and probably the Mark IV DVD nav computer.

I agree it is not that high. It has a lot of extra and has a warranty on it. If it is as good as it looks like it is not way too high.
