It kinda boggles my mind that the dealer could not figure it out.
Could they not replicate the problem? Is it intermittent? The first thing I think of with squealing, when braking at low speeds, is something with the brakes. The left turn thing I have no idea. Could be belt / bearings? How about getting the X up and seeing if the wheels turn freely. Maybe look around / disassemble the front wheels and see what you can discern. Or try this unconventional idea. You have a small digital device that records? Like a digi-cam or one of those mini-recorders. Take that and tape it securely to different places - in the wheelwell, in the engine compartment and see if you can isolate the area of the noise. Good luck and let us know how it goes! |

The e39 had this probl with small stones betvine the breakdisc and innside metal cover on the front breaks. This may be a shoot in the sky, i dont know if its same brakes. only a tip.
