Yes, that is for a SET of 4 wheels.

On the wheels do a search ... you're gonna see a lot. Depends on your taste.

Hey Guys, new here..

I've done a search and found some conflicting info. I'm interested in buying a 3.0 and being the car guys that we are... I'd like to upgrade to the 20" 87s as well. A few questions I'm hoping you can help with.

How badly does the 20" affect the 3.0... Slower? Sluggish? MPG killer? Ride quality? Anyone have any experience with the replica 20"s? Seems like they would be *super* heavy (20-30lbs+ per wheel).

Any help would be appreciated

My dad just got a 06 3.0 with 18's. I put on my old 20" replica 87's on it. I'm going to weigh both sets this weekend.

Wheels are a very subjective thing. Check my avitar above with the 22's. I loved them back in 2002 but am much more in the style 87 replica mode now for our 2006 we just got. I mostly drive our E46 and the X is for my lovely lady!

Agree their have been countless posts on wheel/tire combo's so just do a search and you'll find tons.

Anybody else have tips for Style 87's reps online. Hows the experience after the first year ridin' on them? I've bent many a wheel and more importantly, don;t want to negatively effect the X5 front end with extra weight.

Good luck and make sure you buy a proper sized setup that YOU like!
