Or, i could use the angel with the fog lights.. Thought it might be cool if they blinked when unlocking the car, and also have them lit with the driving lights. |

I think it would be cool to use the drivers door lock and unlock signals as triggers for a latching relay then your remote would turn them on and off.I did a similar mod. with my vert to make the top go up and down with a signal from factory remote.

I have the main power wire going to the power box under the hood and then a trigger wire going to the light in the footwell. AEs come on when doors are unlocked and stay on until I shut the X off.

The main reason I don't want them to be onn all the time as DRL's is because I have the lenses smoked, hence completely different look with them off vs on. I just need to find a parking light that doesn't blink with the blinkers... damn BMW and their fancy lighting!

I have mine all installed and ready to go and now trying to figure out...like you.....how to connect them. The instructions came with " connect the positive wire to DRL and the negative to ground. thats it.
..awesome instructions!

Yeah, I think I'm gonna just power them up with the headlights via relay... I keep the headlights on auto most of the time anyways...

Yes, the red/white is a switched power wire. Kind of strange that you did not get any type of relay with it. If you need anything else let me know.
